MIRRA – MIRRA Handed Over Two Schools with Greywater System in Amman in Jan 2021

The installation of the greywater treatment and reuse systems is complete at two schools in Al-Jizah district, namely Al- Khalidiya Elementary Mixed School and Um Al-Amad Secondary Mixed School.

The installed greywater treatment and reuse systems at these schools were handed over to the Education Directorate in Al-Jizah. Moreover, the treated greywater provides a supplementary water source; it will be reused for toilet flushing at Um Al-Amad Elementary Mixed School and for irrigation purposes at Al-Khalidiya Elementary Mixed School.

This is within the  activities of the project “WASH in Schools – implementing greywater treatment and reuse and improving WASH services in schools”. The project in partnership and funding with UNICEF Jordan.
