MIRRA Summer School of Sustainability was launched on 7/8/2019 in Azraq, Jordan. 

The school target 15 ambitious youth to produce concept notes on projects that address local challenges within 1 to 3 months. By the end on the school, the youth will present their concept notes in front of potential donors in Amman with MIRRA full support. 

The school is covering four main modules Advocacy and Training on Trainers (TOT), Climate Change,  Innovative Technology for Sustainable Agriculture and Water and Develop ٍSolutions and Procedures to Address Local Challenges.

The training of the first module on lobbying/advocacy and training of trainers was initiated by Mr. Omar Shoushan, the President of Jordan Environmental Union (JEU) in Jordan. Mr. Omar interactively covered the following topics.

– Gaining support for environmental issues.

– The role of lobbying in local decision-making.

– The role of lobbying in environmental human rights.

– Using media and social media to gain support.
