Within MIRRA project with UNICEF “Decentralized wastewater treatment and reuse in institutions”, An automatic drip irrigation system has been installed in Zone 1 Rihab Secondary School for Girls in Mafraq. Zone 1 is used for planting vegetables in green houses and in open-fields. The water source for this zone is municipal water stored in a 100 m3 cistern. The irrigation system has been designed by Eng. Maram Zaid from MIRRA with consultation with Eng. Mariam Mashaqbeh, head of agriculture department in the school.
